So it was a good Christmas all told. I spent it with Wolfie and judging by the phone call I received from my mother on Boxing Day, I made the right choice. Disaster does not even begin to describe my family's Christmas and I was better off out of it. Shame I have to go back to it in the New Year though.
Christmas this year was very relaxing, which makes a change. Christmas Dinner went well, or at least no one went down with food poisoning. I cooked Indian Potato Pancakes for starter and then nut roast with roast potatoes, baked sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts and carrots. For dessert we had the traditional Christmas Pudding with double cream, which I ate out of a dog bowl. For the hell of it.
Sadly I got nothing particularly furry this year but I got a stash of cash with which I can buy loads of furry things *wags*. I must look at that second fursuit sometime soon. I admit I kinda went a little crazy in the sales yesterday and bought 4 DVDs and about 15 albums. They were all between £3 and £7 though so many a bargain was had. Most of the albums I bought were ones I wouldn't mind owning but would never pay full price for. I've am currently listening to my sixth and all have been excellent value for money so far, which is cool.
Tomorrow is the Sheffield Meet and I'm coming out of my reclusive hiding. I'm also bringing the pink husky suit and I can't wait to get in him! However may I just apologise now if I feel down or upset tomorrow. My mind is still playing tricks on me and I have no idea what's wrong. It's the source of considerable frustration - I just want to be happy for people - and all I get is this recurring painful nonsense that's not letting me rest or relax. I'm hopeful I will get through it but at the moment I have no real answer. I am searching for it though.
