Farting On Children

I am standing on the bus as I gave up my seat for an elderly person. It was the chivalrous thing to do and the right thing to do. Now my arm is being squashed by an ignorant young girl who is leaning on it while an old man's hand is smeared in my face. I may bite it like a dawg. Chivalry is often unpretty.

We ordered our home brewing kit last night - a Woodford's Wherry Starter Pack. As it's the Leeds Real Ale Festival this week and I already have a scruffy looking beard and no fashion sense, I expect to go the whole hog and start wearing sandals soon. We went for Wherry as we know what it should taste like and it's a good brew. It will take a month to create and the first few batches may be poor but hopefully with practice we will get nice beer. It's a nice little thing for Wolfie and I to work on and should be cheaper than going to the pub in the long run. Not great for our weight loss mission but meh, moderation is the key. So hopefully the equipment will be delivered soon and we can start brewing. Looking forward to it :)

I have a reason to use the disabled seat currently. Crutches and a splint. Bliss, a seat on the bus. ;p But it does mean that I am on the bus and not cycling thus taking 1h20m to get to work rather than 25m

Hope you manage to get more mobile soon - I'd take cycling over the bus any day if it was feasable for me.
