It has been another long and tiring week, with the effects of being so active last weekend being quite noticeable. I fear I am descending into middle age as I am yearning more for quiet weekends with little happening. Tomorrow will be my first day relaxing in a fortnight and I already feel incredibly fatigued, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. I have had barely any chance to write this week, largely due to the tiredness and updating this journal, so I hope I can get some energy to finish at least one story off on Sunday.

Little has happened this week aside from catching up with a few things I had been needing to do for a while. I submitted my German tax return at the start of the week, as well as introducing them to Wolfie, who would like to make a voluntary claim himself. I also sorted out the new pony harness I am looking to buy, received my Deutsche Bahn discount card (and learned about their bonus scheme, which I regret not participating in before now), while the rest of the week was a steady one at work. There is talk about moving teams or taking on yet another project, and I hope this doesn't come to fruition. We've been shifted about so much in the last five months that it's felt like we haven't really done the same thing for more than about four weeks at a time. Things now are quite steady and I am learning quite a lot as I'm able to get into a routine, so I am hoping nothing much changes. We will see I guess.

Wolfie has still been suffering from dizziness, but things have improved slightly this week. He went to the doctors on Monday and an ear specialist on Tuesday, but they saw nothing conclusive, so he's going to a neurologist in Spandau this coming Tuesday. I may go with him to help with the German. In this travels, he also walked past the Monterey which, instead of being a cat cafe, is now a nothing. It's quite sad to see the whitewashed shell of a building it has now become and seems to be a symbol of the gentrification that's happening in many cities all over the world.

On Saturday, I headed over to Kamsirius's place with my pink inflatable husky to take some fursuit pictures. This was the first time I had inflated the husky since I got her in December and she was everything I ever wanted. She has a little imperfection in her left eye, a splotch of pink paint that makes her unique, so I will always be able to identify her. We also got a load of cool Fursuit Friday shots, including a cheeky one of me sniffing her butt, and one that looked like a Nineties indie album cover. Tygrr, a friend of Kamsirius, was also there for a short while before he had to leave for work. It was good meeting him and I even got the opportunity to speak some German, but I do wish I had talked some more in the language. Once he had gone at around 6pm, we ordered Domino's Pizza and chatted for a while, largely as Kamsirius edited some pictures. We had a few heated yet friendly political debates before I headed home just before 10pm. It was a nice, largely chilled day, and hopefully we can do it again sometime. Kamsirius definitely wants me to leave my husky with him for a while, which is something I'll likely do later in the year.

The only other update is the Craft Beer Meet at Vagabund Brauerei the Tuesday before we went to Bremen. This was quite well attended but interestingly largely by people who lived in that part of the city. Some of the usuals such as Lambda, Seebass and Fiasco were there too, but Wolfie couldn't make it as he was feeling ill. Even Fox B came out, which was nice. It was a largely chilled affair, although I probably did have one beer too many, making the Wednesday at work a little difficult. Still, it was enjoyable and the guy behind the bar seemed to love us too, so it was definitely a success. It's looking like future meets are going to move from Tuesday to Wednesday going forward, based on a poll I conducted on Telegram, so the next one will be 3 April. Doing this would enable me to make the May one, which would also fall on the national holiday of 1 May, so that's something. I am yet to sort my US trip, with Vulo being at Texas Furry Fiesta this weekend making it difficult, but this is something I will definitely have to do sometime next week.
